Primer, wet sanding, Paint, fine wet sanding, final coat of top paint. Sanding the wood with 60 grit sandpaper then 400 grit. Refinnishing the wood with varnish, 3 coats. Installed removable carpet inside the boat with high strength Velcro so that when wet or dirty can be removed for cleaning. Polished all of the brass with fine steel wool and brass polish. Re-enforced the centerboard with welding steel braces on each side of the retract handle.
All of this took a collective of about 200 hours, but look at the results!
